The children who are dying of the flu mostly have what I call "acute induced scurvy."  Read the story about babies dying of acute induced scurvy in Archie Kalokerinos' book Every Second Child.  I, personally, treated one 2 year old who would not take the vitamin C I prescribed because of a viral disease and a temperature or 104 F..  In the middle of the night during a snow storm, the mother called saying she thought her son was dying.  I saw him immediately in the middle of the night.  The boy was almost comatose with his back arched.  I quickly gave him an intramuscular shot of one gram of sodium ascorbate in 4 cc of water without preservative.  In a minute or so he was sitting up acting perfectly normal.  The response was so dramatic that there was no question that the mother would have the child take the ascorbate subsequently.  This was exactly the type of case described by Dr. Kalokerinos in Australia.  There was no question that in an
hour or two, if I had done the legally correct thing and sent him to the hospital, he would have been dead of acute induced scurvy.

These observations of the action of ascorbic acid on virus diseases were made independently of any knowledge of previous studies using vitamin C on virus pathology, except for the negative report of Sabin after treating Rhesus monkeys experimentally infected with the poliomyelitis virus. A review of the literature in preparation of this paper, however, presented an almost unbelievable record of such studies. The years of labor in animal experimentation, the cost in human effort and in "grants," and the volumes written, make it difficult to understand how so many investigators could have failed in comprehending the one thing that would have given positive results a decade ago. This one thing was the size of the dose of vitamin C employed and the frequency of its administration. In all fairness it must be said that Jungeblut noted on several occasions that he attributed his failure of results to the possibility that the strength of his injectable "C" was
inadequate. It was he who unequivocally said that ''vitamin C can truthfully be designated as the antitoxic and antiviral vitamin."

Cause Unknown or Cause Ignored?

But is the cause really unknown, or has it been ignored and marginalized? In the 1970s, an Australian doctor named Archie Kalokerinos volunteered to serve the Aboriginal people in the opal mining region of Australia. He found that an astonishing 50% of infants were dying, primarily from SIDS. He noted that the people and their infants were almost completely deficient of vitamin C in their diet, and began a supplementation program. Before long the infant mortality rate had dropped to near zero, and no child subsequently died of SIDS. In 1978, Dr. Irwin Stone, one of the doctors who pioneered research in vitamin C, reported this in a paper presented at the Conference On Controversies In Human And Clinical Nutrition that SIDS was in fact a result of what he called Chronic Subclinical Scurvy (vitamin C deficiency):

The Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) or Crib Death, has been shown by the Australian workers, A. Kalokerinos and G. Dettman, to be a manifestation of infantile scurvy, due to the fact that all infants, born of mothers who depended solely on their diet as their only source of ascorbate, are born with the CSS Syndrome after nine months of intrauterine scurvy (Stone. 1978). SIDS can be prevented by increasing the infant’s intake of ascorbate (Cook, 1978). This has been known and published since 1974 (Kalokerinos, 1974). (Irwin Stone, Eight Decades of Scurvy - The Case History of a Misleading Dietary Hypothesis, 1978).

Many of these infants were dying after receiving government-mandated vaccinations. Dr. Thomas Levy writes:

Vaccinations also generally present some degree of toxin insult to the body. Kalokerinos (1981) observed that vitamin C-deficient Aboriginal infants were often placed into an acute state of scurvy because of the additional vitamin C demands placed on their bodies by the vaccination injections, resulting in sudden death. Also exists the issue of antivirals potentially causing any flu virus to mutate to an even more virulent form, as well as develop resistance. Scientists have clearly warned about this. Currently, Tamiflu resistance is now being seen and reported in relation to the H1N1 virus. Is it worth it for a reduction in flu symptoms known to be only one half to possibly one day, at best?

Ideally, however, in serious cases this disease should be treated first with at least 180 grams or more of sodium ascorbate intravenously every 24 hours running constantly until the fever is broken and most of the symptoms are ameliorated.  If after a few hours that rate of administration does not have an obvious ameliorating effect, the rate should be increased.  Given in adequate doses the ascorbate will neutralize the free radicals.  This is not a matter of medical treatment, it is chemistry.  If enough molecules of ascorbate (electrons) are administered to a patient having a free radical (molecules missing electrons) driven disease, they will neutralize those free radicals and ameliorate or cure the disease.

If you think that all of the above stories about this pneumonia in Army personnel means that the Army will test the blood levels of vitamin C in these heroes and then give them the massive doses of ascorbate intravenously necessary to reverse the acute induced scurvy, do not hold your breath.  The profits of the drug industry have been more important for 53 years and there is no reason to believe that they would risk those profits to save a few lives even if they are heroes.

Mysterious and fatal pneumonia puzzles Army

"The number of cases do not exceed expectations."  In the case of otherwise healthy men, treated in a timely fashion with massive doses of sodium ascorbate intravenously, no one should die.  The deaths are caused by free radicals.  Almost all these free radicals can be neutralized by massive doses of intravenous sodium ascorbate.  All of these deaths are unnecessary and only serve to preserve the profits of the drug industry by keeping the effectiveness of massive doses of ascorbate against acute infectious diseases secret from the public.

Army pneumonia cases show no evidence of biological agents: officials

It makes absolutely no difference what the biological agent is, all of the possible agents kill by way of free radicals.  No free radicals, no symptoms or deaths.  This is why the massive doses of ascorbate are being fought against so much.  It cures all of these conditions and that is what makes ascorbate so dangerous to the profits of the drug industry.  When the patient, in these cases war heroes, come in with some pneumonia starting, they should be hit with massive doses of sodium ascorbate even before the diagnosis is made and the ascorbate will neutralize all the free radicals that are mediating the symptoms.  It is a matter of chemistry.  Massive amounts of ascorbate, massive amounts of extra electrons; all the free radicals are neutralized no matter what is making them.  To hell with the profits of the drug industry.  Any rational person would realize that this genocide has to stop.

U.S. Troops Not Concerned About Pneumonia

That's nice, but it does not excuse us from preventing these deaths by measuring the blood levels of vitamin C and then. when they are found to be zero (because of the acute induced scurvy caused by the massive amounts of free radicals,) treating them with massive doses of intravenous sodium ascorbate.  I'll bet that the cost of sending one of these soldiers to Germany and treating them would be more than treating all of them with massive doses of ascorbate right at the local facilities.  It is so cheap as to be ridiculous not to do so unless, of course, you are trying to preserve the profits of the drug industry.

More U.S. Troops Catch Pneumonia Abroad.

My note:
Why will they not test these heroes for their blood levels of vitamin C and when they are found to have the levels of scurvy (the acute induced scurvy induced by the serious disease), and treat them with massive doses of intravenous sodium ascorbate?.  Because those  in power over these patients do not give a damn for these patients compared to the profits of the drug industry. Either one of two things, that, or the people above them are as mislead as they areall the way up the ladder to the CDC and the AMA. That is why.
Foreign gov'ts and health care systems are very litle differant than in the US, in many countries. Humans are the same, regardless of what soil they stand on.
