Vitamin D is Synthesized From Cholesterol and Found in Cholesterol-Rich Foods, (Another reason to avoid cholesterol drugs).

One of cholesterol's many functions in the body is to act as a precursor to vitamin D. 

Vitamin D can also be obtained from foods. Interestingly, foods that provide this vitamin -- all of which are animal foods -- tend to be high in cholesterol.

Since cholesterol is a precursor to vitamin D, inhibiting the synthesis of cholesterol will also inhibit the synthesis of vitamin D. Since sunlight is required to turn cholesterol into vitamin D, avoiding the sun will likewise undermine our ability to synthesize vitamin D. And since vitamin D-rich foods are also rich in cholesterol, low-cholesterol diets are inherently deficient in vitamin D.

Vitamin D is best known for its role in calcium metabolism and bone health, but new roles are continually being discovered for it, including roles in mental health, blood sugar regulation, the immune system, and cancer prevention. Yet standard modern advice -- take cholesterol-lowering drugs, avoid the sun, eat a low-cholesterol diet -- combined with a recommended daily intake of vitamin D that is only a tenth of what many researchers believe to be sufficient all seems to pave the way for widespread vitamin D deficiency.

Perhaps that's why, according to Dr. John Cannel, President of the Vitamin D Council, most whites and nearly all blacks in modern society are deficient in vitamin D.1

How much is too much?

Most people who have been taking vitamins and supplements have memorized that the correct vitamin D dosage is 400IU/day and have concerns about vitamin D intoxication when taking dosages above that level. It appears that we have been so concerned about toxicity, we have made everyone “vitamin D phobic”, resulting in serious deficiency.

In 1999, researcher Reinhold Vieth, PhD challenged the medical community to produce any evidence that taking 10,000 units of vitamin D per day was toxic. He stated, “Throughout my research, I was amazed at the lack of evidence supporting statements about the toxicity of moderate doses of vitamin D."

Animal data suggest that toxicity can occur by the ingestion of 0.5 mg/kg (20,000 IU per kg). That would be equivalent to a 110-pound adult taking 176,000,000 IU or 440,000 of the 400IU capsules, hardly a possibility, even in an intentional overdose. Dr. Vieth agreed that long term, daily consumption of approximately 40,000 IU/day (100 of the 400 IU capsules) can result in toxicity reflected in blood levels >200ng/mL. Should some persons be cautious taking Vitamin D? 
Like any medicine, supplement or activity, some persons can have a reaction to too much of a good thing.  Persons with hyperparathyroidism, and conditions such as sarcoidosis, granulomatous TB, and some cancers (specifically, oat cell carcinoma of the lung and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma) should not take vitamin D except when under the care of a knowledgeable physician who regularly monitors your blood levels of 25-OH vitamin D. For that reason, while rare, persons over 60 years of age or those with undiagnosed health problems should consult a knowledgeable physician before adding vitamin D to a daily supplement program.

The encephalitis form vaccinations is much more prevalent than we would like to realize, since all vaccines are neurotoxic to begin with. That one child develops encephalopathies from a vaccine and another remains "normal" is not the issue. All children are affected, but some are affected more than others. For example, if a child develops uncontrolled high pitched crying after a vaccine is given, that is written off as a normal reaction and is even listed in medical texts as such. But if that same child has a slower speech development, slower learning (which is so common today), or slower ability in walking, who would know. Unvaccinated children walk sooner, talk sooner, and have a high degree of manual dexterity at an earlier age. Their minds are not assaulted by the neurotoxins that most "normal" children receive. Vaccinations cause the brain to swell and that is "encephalitis", regardless of diagnosis. During the period after vaccines are given children often lose their soft spot in their cranium, as the swelling increases. Why would one's brain swell after vaccines were given? The four points of infection are pain (dolor), redness (color), fever (rubor) and swelling (tumor). Infections of the brain might produce these same points too.
